Art has been an essential part of the atmosphere at Kaffeemitte from the very beginning in 2008. Our goal is to present selected contemporary art to our guests while providing artists with greater visibility – in a unique location at the heart of Berlin.
We regularly host murals and temporary installations, as well as performances, concerts, and readings. Beyond the exhibitions, we produce interviews, essays, and artist portraits. We provide context, ask about the creative process, and introduce the person behind each artwork.
The online archive documents every exhibition presented at Kaffeemitte since 2017.
